This Valentine’s season, Paws N’ Play is spreading love and creativity with our “Votes with Notes” Valentine’s Challenge! Here’s everything you need to know to join in on the fun and make this holiday unforgettable for you and your pups.
How It Works
We’re bringing back the nostalgic charm of Valentine’s Day boxes, but with a twist! Participants will create their own decorated shoeboxes to collect “votes with notes” from February 1st to February 22nd.
What to Do
Create Your Box:
Find a shoebox and decorate it to reflect your creativity and your pet’s personality. Think glitter, stickers, ribbons, and even dog hair glitter for an extra special touch!
Add your pet’s name(s) prominently on the box. You can also include photos, pawprints, or anything that showcases their unique charm.
Submit Your Box:
Completed boxes are due at Paws N’ Play by February 1st or 2nd.
We’ll set up the boxes in our facility to collect votes and notes starting February 1st.
Voting Rules: Votes with Notes
Vote for the Best Box:
Each person gets one vote per day to choose their favorite Valentine’s Day box.
Votes will be submitted using tickets provided by Paws N’ Play staff.
You cannot vote for your own box—spread the love by supporting others!
Spread the Love with Notes:
You can leave Valentine’s notes for every dog featured on the boxes.
There’s no limit to how many notes /cookies you place in the boxes, so feel free to shower all the pups with love and sweet messages!
Timeline
February 1–2: Bring in your decorated boxes to Paws N’ Play.
February 1–22: Cast your daily vote and leave as many Valentine’s notes as you want.
February 22: Last day to submit votes and notes. Winners will be announced shortly after!
Tips for Success
Be Creative: Make your box stand out! Use fun themes that reflect your pet’s personality, like a doggie diner, paw-some palace, or a love-letter mailbox just for them.
Encourage Participation: Invite friends and family to join in the fun by voting and leaving notes.
Go All Out: Dog hair glitter, custom cards, LED lights—get as wild and whimsical as you want!
