No prerequisites. Open to all dogs and handlers.

Not every dog wants to say hi—and not every dog knows how to say hi politely. In this drop-in class, we’ll explore the body language, consent cues, and real-life practice needed to help your dog become more confident (and courteous) when greeting people.

Each one-hour session includes:
🐾 Understanding and recognizing your dog’s way of giving or withholding consent
🐾 Practicing polite greetings without jumping, mouthing, or overexcitement
🐾 Teaching dogs they have a choice—and humans how to respect it
🐾 Building positive associations with new people and interactions

Whether your dog is overly friendly, a little unsure, or somewhere in between, this class gives them the tools to greet people in a way that feels safe, respectful, and rewarding—for everyone involved.
