All Our Dreams Came True Last Weekend… We Met Kimchi the Shih Tzu!
If you don’t know who Kimchi the Shih Tzu is, she’s the cutest little Shih Tzu who went viral for a video where her mom blow-dries her, and Kimchi goes absolutely feral—all to the beat of Lamb of God!
We were thrilled to arrange a playdate between Kimchi and one of our favorite customers, Sunny. Head over to our Instagram to see the highlights in a fun reel we put together! You won’t want to miss Sunny’s interview with Kimchi—it’s beyond adorable.
When we first met Kimchi, we couldn’t get over three things:
Her adorable pigtails!
Her cozy sweater!
Just how tiny she is—only four-and-a-half pounds!
Can you imagine having a dog that small? I’d worry about losing her in the cushions! (Kimchi’s mom assured us that she has a perfect handle on her little queen!)
Back to those pigtails… Kimchi is known for her signature look, always topped with the cutest hair accessories. Sunny brought bedazzled hair clips to gift her, and we have a little video at the end of this post showing them off.
Kimchi already had some adorable flower ties that perfectly matched her sweater, so we didn’t swap them out, but we can’t wait to see her try the clips with a holiday sweater soon!
There was soooo much more that happened during our meet-up that we couldn’t fit into the reel! We chatted with Kimchi’s mom about how she came up with her perfect name, what her relationship is like with her half-sister, Lucy, and Kimchi’s absolutely enviable sweater collection (she has so many).
Kimchi might be small, but her personality is HUGE! We brought out some bunny ears for the dogs to play with, and even though the bigger dogs kept snagging Kimchi’s ears, she kept stealing them right back. Sometimes the smallest dogs have the biggest personalities, right?
